IVR or Integrated Voice Response, gives Skyline Taxis the ability to offer a faster, efficient service to more customers. The system allows regular customers to book a taxi without speaking to an operator. Once the customer is eligible the system will automatically offer the automated service Generally it takes 15/20 seconds to book a taxi using the automated service. Of course IVR will not replace our staff, but it will free up our telephonists to concentrate on dealing with calls that demand their attention. 1 in 3 customers use the automated service and we are delighted with the positive feedback from customers.
Step by Step Guide;
1. Ring 01908 222111 as usual.
2. Select your pick up point by pressing 1,2 or 3.
3. Press 1 for a taxi asap.
4. That's it! Mobile phone users receive a booking confirmation by text SMS.
